The cataloguer determined the right Depeyrot reference but was apparently not interested in the provenance.. (Depeyrot recorded only 2 specimens: this coin and a specimen in Vienna coin cabinet).

Highly suspect; I found a clone with virtually the same wear, same dies and same toning in a collection. The edge is also filed. I think it's a modern forgery

The diary reference "B.A.S" can be resolved by "B.A. Seaby Ltd".
